This Privacy Policy explains how Lazy Technologies LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), the operator of Louf (the “Service,” available at louf.ai and in the Louf app), collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the Service. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we will give notice on the Service.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. Your email address when you join the waitlist; your name, email address and sign-in provider (such as Apple or Google) when you create an account; and anything you choose to send us, such as feedback.
Taste and activity in the Service. The products you pick during onboarding, the items you save, categories you ask to see more of, brands you hide, and how you interact with the feed (for example, which products you open). We use this to personalize what you see.
Device and usage information. Information our servers and analytics tools collect automatically, such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed and access times.
Payment information. We do not collect or store payment details. Purchases happen on the brand’s or retailer’s own website, not on Louf.

2. How we use information
- To operate the Service and keep your account, saves and preferences
- To personalize your feed and the notes that explain why a product may suit you
- To understand how the Service is used and improve it
- To send you updates you asked for, such as waitlist and launch emails (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- To track clicks to retailers so affiliate commissions can be attributed
- To prevent fraud and keep the Service secure
3. How we share information
Retailers and affiliate networks. When you tap a link to buy a product, you leave Louf and go to the retailer’s website. The retailer and, where applicable, an affiliate network may record that you arrived from Louf and whether you made a purchase. Their own privacy policies apply to what they collect.
Service providers. We use vendors to host the Service, send email, provide sign-in and measure usage. They may process information for us under confidentiality obligations.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or us.
Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Affiliate links
Some product links on Louf are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission from the retailer at no extra cost to you. Commissions never change which products we show you or how we rank them. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your saves and preferences, and analytics to understand how the Service is used. Retailers and affiliate networks may set their own cookies after you leave Louf for their site. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working.
6. Your choices and rights
You can view and change your taste preferences in your profile, delete saved items at any time, and unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message.
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell it), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Residents of the EEA and UK may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of their personal information and to data portability.
To make a request, email us at hello@louf.ai. You can also ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. If you delete your account, we delete your account data within 30 days, except where we must keep it for legal reasons.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
